Indy Achieves helps ensure that all Marion County residents have the opportunity and ability to pursue postsecondary education. IUPUI has partnered with the city of Indianapolis and Ivy Tech Community College on the Indy Achieves program to reinforce IUPUI's commitment to all Indianapolis and Marion County residents.

IUPUI honored two major milestones in 2020 -- the bicentennials of Indiana University and the city of Indianapolis. Learn more about each bicentennial celebration below.
IU Bicentennial
What do you get the school that has everything? You honor the Hoosiers who have worked since 1820 to achieve excellence in education and research. What began in Bloomington with a single teacher and 12 students has blossomed into a statewide network of more than 94,000 students. IUPUI is proud to be part of a celebration that chronicled and explored IU's rich history.

Indianapolis turns 200
Triumph, growth, diversity, innovation: Indianapolis has experienced it all since 1820. We've gone from log cabins on the White River to the Soldiers and Sailors Monument. From horse-drawn carts to The Greatest Spectacle in Racing. It's time to celebrate and reflect on the Circle City's unique journey. There's no other city like our city. Here's to 200 more years of excellence.
